  Hello!  So  for the blog post, I wanted to basically create a mood board on what exactly I'm feeling for what I'd like to create one day! As you can clearly see, a lot of the stuff pictured on this mood board make you feel happy!  Well  that was the intention on the creation of this mood board, but what brings happiness you may ask? Comedy! A lot of the stuff done here are in a Comedy Movie, whether it be a group of friends hanging out for a bite to eat or just doing stupid stuff in the city. Where the sky is always colored blue where they usually go to a beach or a park! A lot of the things here emit both Comedy & Happiness!   For this blog post, I watched a movie & took notes of the various camera shots & movements that I saw in  the film during me watching. The movie of my choosing was the Dark Knight that came out in 2008. There were tons of camera shots & camera movements in the movie, especially in one of my favorite scenes of the movie, todays blog post is gonna be revolved around the different shots and movements I saw in the movie. During the batman's interrogation of the joker, a medium close up & a normal close up are both used as well as a pan in an attempt to focus into the conversation currently going on between the two. It emphasizes Batman's strength & anger in the scene but also emphasizes the jokers manipulation & how even chained, still has the upper hand. During this scene, the Joker is essentially begging for batman to hit him with his motorbike.   Reviewing Camera Shots, 9/13/2021 Now while looking at other peoples camera shots, comparing & contrasting them all to mines while trying to see if theirs was better than mines. I liked many of the ones I saw but there were certainly two that I really thought were better than the others. On todays blog post I'll be sharing those two specific camera shots with you! The first camera shot I really liked was from the blog How I Survived Media Studies, the shot featured in the blog that was a personal favorite of mines was an overhead shot. It features an unlit candle but then a lighter slowly makes its way onto the screen & begins to slowly light up the dark candle. Going from a contrast of darkness to pure light. What I liked about this extreme close up was the high amount of detail focused onto the candle & just the pure, utter, satisfaction that I had felt as the candle was getting lit up. Earlier this week, me & a partner worked on a short project in our schools courtyard on where we’d film camera shots & camera angles with our phones. That’s what this blog post is gonna be revolved around! For our establishing shot, we got out in front of the stairs & my partner went in front of where the establishing shot was filmed. I first had focused on the building where he was standing at & then went below a bit to focus on him to show both the location & the person at that location for the viewers to know. It wasn’t that difficult to film & I believe that did a good job at fufilling the purpose of what an Establishing Shot is essentially meant to be. For our close up shot, it was easier to film. My partner stood at a short distance away from me & filmed only my head & the upper portion of my body & had zoomed in while doing so.
